Select iced coffees and teas rather than the piping hot varieties, especially if heat causes redness and flushing. Heated beverages may account for an increase in symptoms among 36% of sufferers, notes the National Rosacea Society.

Moderate Alcohol Consumption

If you are fond of drinking alcoholic beverages, you can still enjoy them in moderation if you are suffering from rosacea. Among the list of certain alcoholic drinks which can trigger a flare up of rosacea symptoms, red wine can be found on the number one spot and beer is second.

When mixed with water, spirits will not likely cause facial flushing and redness. Mixed drinks that contain juice can also be easily tolerated and it does not have much contribution to flushing and redness which is associated with rosacea.
